The Funders for a Ceasefire Now released a, “Philanthropy Open Letter for Humanity and Justice,” calling for a ceasefire in the conflict, passage of humanitarian aid into Gaza, demanding the U.S and Europe cease all funding to the Israeli military, and the safe release of all hostages. 1 The coalition also blames the events on October 7 on Israel, claiming it was due to, “the decades of systematic violence, military occupation and displacement that all Palestinians, especially in Gaza, have experienced at the hands of the Israeli government.” 1
