Background
Vote Rev Action Fund, formerly known as the Vote Tripling Action Fund, is the sister organization to Vote Rev, a left-of-center PAC that supports Democratic Party candidates by enlisting voters to “vote triple” by messaging three friends to remind them to vote. [2]
While Vote Rev works with Democratic Party campaigns to increase votes, Vote Rev Action Fund works with left-of-center non-profit organizations to increase voter turnout. According to Vote Rev Action Fund, it works with more than 40 partner organizations. [3]
Affiliated Organizations
Vote Rev Action Fund is partnered with various left-of-center organizations including Make the Road Pennsylvania, a sister organization to Make the Road New York, a New York-based community organizing group focused on immigrant communities with ties to immigration expansion and labor union movements that receives substantial funding from government sources. [4]
Vote Rev Action Fund also worked with When We All Vote during the 2020 presidential election cycle. When We All Vote is a Democratic-aligned voter outreach and registration organization. Former First Lady Michelle Obama founded the group with liberal celebrities including Tom Hanks and with a board composed of former Obama administration officials. [5] [6]
