The Tides Canada Initiatives Society is a Canadian nonprofit affiliated with Makeway Foundation (previously titled Tides Canada Foundation), a U.S.- and Canada-based nonprofit associated with the Tides Nexus, a collection of center-left grantmaking and fiscal sponsorship nonprofits in San Francisco, California.

Tides Canada Initiatives Society’s primary activity involves “programs focused on environmental conservation, education and research, leadership development, civic engagement, capacity building and social welfare programs.” ¹
