Confluence Philanthropy is a “mission-aligned investing” nonprofit that coordinates funding to center-left groups. Confluence Philanthropy is associated with a number of for-profit consulting and investing groups on the political Left, including the SEIU-owned Amalgamated Bank and the philanthropy consultancy Arabella Advisors. The group was originally created in 2009 as a fiscal project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. 
Dana Lanza is the founder, president, and CEO of Confluence Philanthropy. Lanza is the former executive director of Environmental Grantmakers Association, which performs similar funding coordination services for left-wing groups.
