The iterations of the PAC have contributed to various Democratic U.S. Senators, including Sens. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Kirstin Gillibrand (D-NY), and Jacky Rosen (D-NV). 1

In 2022 and 2023, the Justice PACs gave $804,364 to Democratic candidates and ally organizations. The PAC gave 100 percent of all donations to Democrats. 1
Justice 2022 contributed $184,430 toward the election of U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH); $124,755 towards the election of Ohio Senate candidate Tim Ryan (D); $121,823 towards the election of Wisconsin Senate candidate Mandela Barnes; $99,970 to the campaign of Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA); $99,910 toward the election of Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA); $95,225 toward the election of Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV); $83,587 toward the election of Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD); $82,900 toward the election of Sen. Michael Bennett (D-CO); $81,450 toward the election of North Carolina Senate candidate Cheri Beasley (D); and $80,900 toward the election of Sen. Peter Welch (D-VT). 2
From 2017 through 2024, the four iterations of the Justice PACs contributed $4,288,379 to Democratic U.S. Senate candidates, according to research by the right-of-center Alliance for Consumers. The PAC’s iterations also contributed a total of $7,678 to Democratic-leaning organizations. All its contributions went toward supporting Democrats or opposing Republicans. 1
Trial Lawyer Political Influence
Along with the Justice PACs, the right-leaning Alliance for Consumers identified two other organizations in its report as “shady trial lawyer” PACs. Its report on similar organizations includes the AAJ PAC, which is associated with the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) which has contributed 98 percent of its $21.5 million in contributions to Democratic candidates from 2017 through 2024. 1
The Truth and Justice Fund Company spent more than $3 million in swing state U.S. Senate candidates in North Carolina and Montana. 1
Overall, the Justice PACs, the AAJ PAC and the Truth and Justice Fund Company contributed about $29 million in total support for Democratic U.S. Senate candidates and allied committees from 2017 through 2024. Some of the recipients include left-leaning groups such as America Votes, American Bridge 21st Century, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and Emily’s List. 1
