Andrew Steer is the president of the Bezos Earth Fund, a charitable organization launched by Amazon founder and left-leaning billionaire Jeff Bezos to provide grants to environmentalist groups. 1 Steer previously worked as an economic advisor to various international aid agencies like the World Bank and World Economic Forum with a focus on addressing climate change. 2 From 2012 to April 2021, Steer also worked as president and CEO of the World Resources Institute (WRI), a nonprofit organization that makes recommendations on climate policy. 3
