Background
The Georgia Alliance is composed of the Georgia Alliance Education Fund, a charitable and advocacy nonprofit, and the Georgia Investor Action Fund, a social welfare and civic engagement nonprofit. 1
The Alliance’s broader network includes Georgia Engaged, a 501(c)(4) statewide coalition table that later became America Votes Georgia; Represent Georgia and the related Represent Georgia Action Network; the Georgia Safe and Strong PAC; Progress Georgia; Collective Renaissance Georgia and its sister 501(c)(4) Collective Renaissance Action; and the Dialogue Collaborative. 3
The Georgia Alliance organizes civic engagement campaigns and advocates for the critical race theory-influenced concept of equity, stating that it “invests to advance equitable access” and to advance a “racially just democracy.” Moreover, the group states that it invests in “organizations led by and serving communities of color—especially Black communities.” 3
In 2020, Meg Robinson, the founding executive director of the Georgia Alliance, 4 was a member of the Funders Committee for Civic Participation, a donors’ affinity group for left-of-center voter engagement advocacy. 5 6
Leadership
Christine White was the executive director of the Georgia Alliance from 2021 to 2025 and the deputy director of the organization from 2018 to 2021. 7 As of 2026, she was listed as the registered agent for the Georgia Alliance LLC. 2 She was also the founder and managing partner of Authentic Intel as of July 2026. Previously, she worked as a judicial clerk and as Deputy District Attorney for Fulton County, Georgia. She has also worked as senior counsel for the tax law firm White Legal Strategy, LLC within the greater Atlanta area, and as a host and cultural commentator for Georgia Public Broadcasting from 2017 to 2021. 7
As of July 2026, Quentin Mays was the executive director of the Georgia Alliance. Previously, Mays was a trainer for the National Democratic Training Committee from 2020 to 2025. Mays was also the chief of staff for the Everybody Votes Campaign from 2022 to 2025 and a director of partnerships and community engagement at the Analyst Institute from 2019 to 2022. From 2015 to 2019, Mays held various political organizing roles, including working as a national deputy political and program director at America Votes, a deputy organizing director at Aim Higher Now NC, a field and advocacy manager at State Voices Florida, a field organizer at the Virginia Democratic Coordinated Campaign, and a hotel employees action team assistant for UNITE HERE. 8
