Bucks Environmental Action (BEA) is a member of the Better Path Coalition, a Pennsylvania-based environmentalist network that is opposed to natural gas exploration and other traditional energy infrastructure projects being developed in the state. Bucks Environmental Action (BEA) has previously signed onto, and supported the #ClimatePresident Action Plan. The plan was formed by a coalition of the Center for Biological Diversity, the Climate Justice Alliance, the Labor Network for Sustainability, Greenpeace, 350.org, Oil Change USA, Friends of the Earth, the Democracy Collaborative, Earthworks, NC WARN, Food and Water Watch, the Center for Climate Integrity, the Rainforest Action Network, Corporate Accountability International, ActionAid USA, and EcoEquity. 8
The coalition’s proposed agenda included declaring a national state of emergency regarding climate change, ceasing the extraction and exporting of fossil fuels, having the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) set regulations to ban the sale of conventional fuel vehicles by 2030, directing U.S. military funding to the development of weather-dependent energy infrastructure, reversing the first Trump administration’s “harmful and unethical” immigration policies in order to “absorb the growing number of climate-displaced” immigrants, prosecuting fossil fuels companies for alleged harm done by energy infrastructure projects, directing Congress to “appropriate funds for large-scale financial” support for other countries’ efforts to reduce emissions, and rejoining the Paris Agreement. 9
In September 2025, BEA signed on to a letter advocating for the passage of Pennsylvania HB 660, also known as the Pennsylvania Energy and Water Efficiency Standards Act.
