    In addition to grants to non-political groups such as the San Francisco Zoological Society and the Alzheimer’s treatment program Music and Memory, Schoellkopf Family Foundation donates to several advocacy groups with left-of-center issue areas. Abortion access advocacy giant Planned Parenthood Federation of America, social-liberal legal advocacy organization American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and the controversial anti-extremism watchdog Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) all received grants in 2018. Liberal immigration policy advocate group National Immigration Law Center was also funded that year. 1
