History

KDH for the People Inc. is a 501(c)(4) advocacy group that was evidently formed by former Vice President Kamala Harris’s team in 2025 following her loss in the 2024 presidential election. In early September 2025, the existence of the group became known when New York Times reporter Shane Goldmacher shared on social media that fundraising emails from Harris to email lists of supporters carried a paid-for disclosure that KDH for the People inc. was responsible for the email, and indicated that the group had tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(4) political advocacy group. ²

The group was incorporated in Delaware in February 2025. ¹

Fundraising

KDH for the People’s disclaimer on the fundraising email noted that the “mission of KDH For The People, Inc. is to strengthen communities across America through the promotion of economic opportunity, justice, and protection of fundamental freedoms.” ²

Little else was publicly available about the group as of September 2025, other than that it had an active fundraising profile on ActBlue, and a fundraising page raising funds for the group through ActBlue’s 501(c)(4) arm ActBlue Civics. The group’s ActBlue directory listing directs to kamalaharris.com, Harris’s former campaign website which now directs to her personal office, branded as the Office of Kamala D. Harris. ^{4 3 5}
