Haddock Stanton Foundation is a private family foundation located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. It was founded in 2007 by retired hotel chain executive Robert “Bob” Haddock and his wife Ann Stanton, a law professor at Arizona State University. Haddock Stanton Foundation was founded and endowed by Arizona couple Ann Stanton and Robert “Bob” Haddock. Bob Haddock is a retired executive in the hospitality industry who was the CFO of Ramada Inc., where he led a restructuring that led to Ramada spinning off its casino business into a new company called Aztar Inc., which operated properties including the Tropicana in Las Vegas. Haddock was the chairman and CEO of Aztar when the company was sold to a private investor, and he subsequently retired. As of 2016, he managed Phoenix Venture Partners, an equity firm that invests in start-ups and real estate in Arizona. Haddock attended law and business school at Stanford University. 1
Ann Stanton is a professor of law emeritus (retired) at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Stanton received a J.D. and Ph.D. from Stanford University and joined the ASU Law School faculty in 1980. Stanton specializes in family law and has taught courses in juvenile law, domestic relations, elder law, law and gender, legal ethics, and law and social science, among others. She has served on several state boards including the Arizona Judicial Council Committee on Child Support and Family Law, Arizona’s Task Force on Juvenile Corrections, and the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and as Chair of the Arizona Commission on Child Support Enforcement. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Legal Issues. 4 2
