Camping to Connect provides camping experiences and outdoor mentorship to Black urban youth. 5
Homeboy Industries provides rehabilitation and re-entry support to high risk youth who were formerly gang members or recently incarcerated. 6 It established its own business enterprises to provide job training, including a bakery, a café, a catering business, a farmers market, dog grooming, and electronics recycling. 7 In 2023, it reported over $47 million in revenue, including over $10.6 million in government grants. 8
Safe Place for Youth works to prevent youth homelessness by providing services and a safe environment in the Los Angeles area. 9 It reported 2023 revenues of $10.7 million, including government grants of almost $5.3 million. 10
The Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund is a New York-based gun control advocacy and lobbying group. 11
Environmental advocates Waterkeeper Alliance support enforcing environmental laws with a focus on water. 12
The Glencoe Family Foundation has made prior grants to organizations involved in immigrant and refugee support and activism, including those listed below. 13
Innovation Law Lab is an immigration activist group made up of lawyers, coders, and activists that leverage a combination of technology and lawyering to represent illegal immigrants and refugees. 14 It has been supported by Seeding Justice, the Oregon Community Foundation, and the Immigrant Justice Corps through grants and fellowships. 15 16
The International Rescue Committee provides support services to immigrants, refugees, and asylees attempting to enter the United States. It receives funding from individual contributions and grants, and also from the United States Department of Health and Human Services. 17 18 In the year ending September 20, 2023 it received almost $1.3 billion in contributions and grants. 19 Donors to the organization include liberal billionaire philanthropist George Soros’s Open Society Foundations 20 and the Gates Foundation. 21
Exodus Refugee, the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies, and Miles4Migrants are organizations that support refugees and immigrants with asylum advocacy or support services. 22 23

The Glencoe Family Foundation tax return lists the officers of the organization. Brian Henderson is president. Robert M. Henderson is vice president. Louise Henderson is CFO. Mark E. Draper is assistant secretary and the tax preparer. Draper is a CPA located in Carmel, Indiana. 24 25
