Fineshriber Family Foundation (FFF) was founded in 2006 by Jeffrey Moskin and his wife Marcia Antopol to provide grants to organizations that support families and children with a focus on left-progressive social policy. 12 FFF also gives to many Jewish nonprofits.

Grants

Fineshriber Family Foundation primarily gives to non-partisan poverty relief groups, but also donates to some left-of-center nonprofits. From 2017-2018, FFF gave $148,000 to the Central American Resource Center Los Angeles (CARECEN-LA), an immigrant advocacy group, and $300,000 to American Friends of Hand In Hand, a group focused on “building inclusion and equity”3 between Israeli and Palestinian children. 45

In July 2020, FFF raised $200,000 for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. 6

Leadership

Beth Tigay has been the Fineshriber Family Foundation executive director since June 2019, and previously served as assistant director under Marcia Antopol. Prior, Tigay served as the executive director of the Culver City Family Alliance and the Spark Program. From 2014 to late 2017, Tigay was the California director of Moving Traditions, a Jewish youth education group. Before working for nonprofits, Tigay worked as a teacher for over a decade, including at the Larchmont Charter School. 7
