The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) is a union representing over 50,000 flight attendants across 17 airlines. 1 The AFA is part of the 700,000-strong Communications Workers of America (CWA), which itself is an affiliate of the wider American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). 2

She was joined by Mary Kay Henry, president of Service Employees International Union; and Lee Saunders, president of American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. 3
