The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) is a union representing over 50,000 flight attendants across 17 airlines. [1] The AFA is part of the 700,000-strong Communications Workers of America (CWA), which itself is an affiliate of the wider American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). [2]

2019 House Democrats Issues Conference

Sara Nelson, president of Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, participated in a discussion titled “Standing up for America’s Working People” at the 2019 House Democrats Issues Conference. She was joined by Mary Kay Henry, president of Service Employees International Union; and Lee Saunders, president of American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. [3]
