The National Center for the Public Interest (NCPI) is a non-tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity affiliated with the 501(c)(3) members of the Public Interest Network, including the Center for Public Interest Research, and is associated with the U.S. Public Interest Research Group (US-PIRG).

NCPI is affiliated with the National Association of Organizations in the Public Interest (NAOPI), which is affiliated with the 501(c)(4) members of the Public Interest Network.

Wendy Wendlandt is president of NCPI.
