International Business Leaders Forum Global (IBLF Global) has worked with businesses, governments, and civil society in more than 90 countries. It has received support from close to 100 global companies, national companies, and nonprofit organizations to support its efforts to catalyze business engagement, convene working groups, publish research, and convene global networks and resources. 14 15 IBLF Global classifies its model as a small headquarters for project initiation and coordination, knowledge sharing and local capacity building, with most actual project work carried out by local partners. 16

The organization works with business leaders, advocacy groups, private companies, and governments to address local and global development challenges. Previously, IBLF has run programs to bring Russia and China into best international practices in corporate compliance, raise awareness about corruption, and share management tools and techniques. 20 IBLF Global also educates entrepreneurs and local startups with programs teaching business knowledge, leadership, and ethics. 21

In 2023, IBLF participated in a roundtable organized by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development for the launch of two Presidential Initiatives, the Global Initiative to Galvanize the Private Sector as Partners Combat Corruption (GPS) and the Countering Transnational Corruption (CTC) Grand Challenge. 22

IBLF Global has also worked with the World Economic Forum 23 and various United Nations programming events, 24 and co-hosted a group with the London School of Economics’ Confucius Institute for Business London. 25

As of April 2023, the organization’s action projects include compliance and integrity training, public procurement procedures, business-government integrity, and support, training, and mentoring for young entrepreneurs. 26

IBLF hosts video dialogues with global business and though leaders 27 and has published reports in conjunction with the government of the United Kingdom, the United Nations, 28 and other entities on topics including women entrepreneurs, corruption, and business integrity in countries including Vietnam, China, and Russia. 29
