Background
Peach Concerned Citizens is a Georgia-based, left-of-center nonprofit organization that was founded in 2018 to increase voter turnout among ethnic minorities. It seeks to increase voter turnout by 15 percent in each election in Crawford, Macon, Peach, and Taylor counties. 2
Peach Concerned Citizens recruits community leaders to participate in its voter registration campaigns for the “economic improvement” of its target demographics. It recruits voters by advising individuals to vote to address left-of-center economic, social, and environmental issues. 3

Peach Concerned Citizens provides voter registration and polling resources. It directs users on its website to the Georgia state voter registration website. It also provides infographics about civic participation, including from Democratic Party politician and Activist Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight Action. 4
Peach Concerned Citizens refers web users to Ride to the Polls, a service that provides transportation to polling locations during elections. 5

In August 2023, Peach Concerned Citizens published a blog post informing readers about the redistricting process. In the post, it advocates for redistricting commissions under the guise of promoting democracy. 6

Peach Concerned Citizens also partners with ProGeorgia, stating that ProGeorgia aligns with its policy advocacy. 10 ProGeorgia engages in left-of-center policy advocacy in Georgia, including voter registration campaigns that target so-called “underrepresented communities.” 11
