One Nation (formerly Alliance for America’s Future) advocates for legislation and policies that support economic growth, limited and accountable government, and strong national security. 1

The group is aligned with the Republican Party.

Activities

One Nation’s concerns include protecting the tax reforms passed in 2017, appointing constitutional conservatives to the Supreme Court, protecting victims of sexual assault, supporting veterans, and curbing government spending. 2 To achieve these goals, One Nation engages citizens to take action on pending legislation through paid advertisements, online advocacy tools, and events with policymakers. 3

In the 2016 election cycle, One Nation spent over $3.4 million opposing Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate including Kathleen McGinty in Pennsylvania, Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Rep. Deborah Ross (D-NC), Jason Kander of Missouri, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), and Evan Bayh of Indiana. 4

Funding

One Nation is funded by donations from individuals, foundations, and businesses. While One Nation does not disclose its donors, tax filings confirm donations from the Judicial Crisis Network ($3 million in 2021), 5 the American Exceptionalism Institute ($2 million in 2019), 6 and Crossroads GPS ($900,000 in 2021). 7
