    The National Pro-Life Religious Council is a pro-life Christian coalition that is concerned with the sanctity of human life, with a focus on opposing abortion. The NPRC aims to use the historic Christian perspective to prevent acts that may harm women, the unborn, disabled persons, the elderly, and the medically dependent. 1

    The NPRC encourages and fosters ministry to those affected by abortion and its aftermath. The NPRC offers support through its network and provides information about pro-life pregnancy centers and abortion recovery resources.  1

    The NPRC is a co-sponsor of the National Memorial for the Pre-Born and Their Mothers and Fathers, held annually in Washington, D.C. This is an inter-denominational prayer service that precedes the annual March for Life rally. 2

    Financials

    The National Pro-Life Religious Council is primarily funded by membership donations from individuals, churches, and other groups. In 2026, membership in NPRC cost $25 annually. 3

    The NPRC filed the IRS e-postcard through tax year 2015 claiming less than $50,000 in revenue. The NPRC’s nonprofit status was revoked by the Internal Revenue Service in 2019 and, as of January 2026, it was unclear whether its nonprofit status has been reinstated. 4

    Board of Directors

    Frank Pavone is the president of National Pro-Life Religious Council, the national director of Priests for Life, and the national pastoral director of both Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign.  5  Pavone was dismissed from the priesthood by the Vatican in November 2022 for reasons of “persistent disobedience” and “blasphemous communications on social media.” 6

    Ernest Ohlhoff is a co-founder of the NPRC and formerly worked as director for outreach at the National Right to Life Committee. 7

    Georgette Forney is the president of Anglicans for Life and a co-founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign. 8

    Dennis Di Mauro is the secretary of the board of the NPRC and the president of the Northern Virginia chapter of Lutherans for Life. DiMauro sits on the board of the national chapter of Lutherans for Life. 9

    John Brown sits on the board of the Isaachar Imperative. 10

    Thomas Glessner is the founder and president of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA). Glessner is a former president and CEO of the Christian Action Council (now called Care Net). 11

    Tiffany Manor is the director of the Life Ministry Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Manor formerly sat on the board of Lutherans for Life. 12

    John S. Sheldon is the president of Presbyterians Protecting Life. 13

    Paul T. Stallsworth is the president of Lifewatch, Taskforce of United Methodists on Abortion and Sexuality (TUMAS). 14

    Mary Szoch is the director of the Center for Human Dignity at the Family Research Council. Szoch formerly worked as the director of the D.C. Catholic Conference and the manager of Catholic policy and advocacy at the Archdiocese of Washington. 15
