    Activities

Club for Growth Foundation sponsors research, writes policy reports, publishes an annual analysis of Congressional votes, and hosts conferences and forums focused on economic conservatism. 3

In a September 2022 report, Club for Growth Foundation criticized the report on the Climate and Energy Implications of Crypto-Assets in the United States (OSTP Report) issued by the Biden administration White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and other federal agencies. The CFG Foundation claimed that the OSTP Report used faulty scientific data and analysis to assert that crypto-asset mining harms the environment through high energy use, warranting strict government regulation. The CFG Foundation further claimed that the OSTP Report is politically motivated and seeks to hinder the free market, innovation, and American ingenuity. 4

In December 2022, the Club for Growth Foundation submitted comments to the Department of Labor opposing a proposed gig-worker rule under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The CFG Foundation claimed that the proposed rule would eliminate jobs while increasing frivolous lawsuits. It further claimed that the proposed rule would disproportionately affect minorities and is in direct conflict with the Biden administration’s policies promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. 5
