The American Greatness Fund is a right-of-center advocacy and research organization founded by President Donald Trump’s former campaign advisor Brad Parscale after Trump’s loss of the 2020 election. [1]

The organization plans to produce scorecards for the security of election processes in several states that were highly contested during the 2020 election. [2]

Background

Brad Parscale, former campaign manager for President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign, established both the American Greatness Fund and the American Greatness PAC in February 2021. After being fired during the campaign, Parscale reportedly returned to Trump’s inner circle after the election and started the political action committee and its sister advocacy group. [3]

American Greatness PAC filed a statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission in February 2021. Two weeks later that same month, Parscale incorporated the American Greatness Fund in Delaware. [4]

Parscale said upon launching the advocacy group, “American Greatness Fund will provide transparent data research and visualization, which will offer an accurate state-by-state aggregation of all needed, ongoing, and completed efforts towards voting integrity.” [5]

Election Integrity Alliance

The American Greatness Fund unveiled the Election Integrity Alliance in May 2021. [6]

The alliance will evaluate election integrity in eight states. Those are Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Of those states in the 2020 election, Trump won Florida and Ohio. President Joe Biden won each of the other states in close contests that supporters of former President Trump disputed. [7]

The American Greatness Fund’s Election Integrity Alliance also publishes a “scorecard” to evaluate the election integrity in key states. [8]

The Election Integrity Alliance also campaigns to preserve the Electoral College. [9]

Jenna Ellis, former counsel for the Trump legal team during the post-2020 election litigation to reverse the election outcome, is the chairwoman of the national board for the Election Integrity Alliance. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) is the honorary co-chairman. [10]

Other board members include Bernie Kerik, a former New York police commissioner; Sebastian Gorka, former deputy assistant to President Trump in the White House; Michael Donnelly, a constitutional law professor, and Mirna Tarraf, a former Trump legal team special assistant. [11]
