Leadership

Dan Cohen

Dan Cohen is the founder and CEO of Full Court Press Communications. Despite the company operating out of Oakland, Cohen lives in Israel and works remotely. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency describes Cohen as living “out his Zionist dream.” 12

While attending Babson College, Cohen took a semester off to intern for then-U.S. Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Cohen worked for numerous Democratic political campaigns across the country for a few years until he worked for a public relations firm. He then followed his boss to work for their client at General Mills. Cohen graduated from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in the late 1990s and then worked for two tech start-ups before founding FCPC in 2002. 13 14 15

In June 2017, Cohen wrote an article for the Huffington Post on “resistance resources” to oppose President Donald Trump (R), including joining Indivisible and labor unions. 16

In 2021, Cohen wrote an article for The Times of Israel arguing that misinformation was a major concern and had killed 1 million Americans due to vaccine misinformation. 17 Cohen has also praised the communication skills of former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci. 18

Cohen has moderated the Jewish Vote Forum in the San Francisco Bay Area. 19
