Oregonians for Better Elections, sometimes known as Oregonians for Ranked Choice Voting, is a political action committee (PAC) focused on promoting ranked choice voting. ¹

Contributions

In 2022, Oregonians for Better Elections contributed $52,000 to an Oregon-based campaign called Oregon Ranked Choice Voting, according to the Daily Caller. ¹

In the 2024 election cycle, Oregonians for Better Elections contributed $10,000 to Oregon State Senator Rob Wagner (D-Lake Oswego), $5,000 to Oregon State Representative Benjamin Bowman (D-Tigard), $5,000 to Oregon State Senator Kathrine (Khanh) Pham (D-Portland), $5,000 to Oregon State Senator Katherine Lieber (D-Portland), and $5,000 to Oregon State Representative Julianne Fahey (D-Eugene). ^{4 5}

Funding

In 2022, FairVote Action Fund gave $50,000 to Oregonians for Better Elections. In that same year, FairVote Action Fund supported various PACs with similar names and goals, including $390,000 to Ranked Choice Voting for Seattle. ²

In 2022, Unite America PAC gave $75,000 to Oregonians for Better Elections. ³

Both Unite America PAC and FairVote Action Fund are active in pushing for ranked choice voting initiatives across the country. ^{6 7}
