George P. Schulz was the former US Secretary of State during the Regan Administration. In addition, during the Nixon Administration he served as Secretary for the Department of Treasury, the Department of Labor and was the director of the Office of Management and Budget. He also worked as a senior staff economist on the Council of Economic Advisers under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. In addition, Schultz previously sat on the advisory board of the Niskanen Center and was previously recognized by the Climate Leadership Council as a co-author of the Carbons Dividend Plan. He passed away on February 6, 2021 in Stanford, California. 1
