David Simas is the former president of The Obama Foundation as of 2024. He previously served as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the organization. ¹

In 2009 he worked as the deputy assistant for President Obama and in 2007 he worked as the deputy chief of staff for Deval Patrick the previous Governor of Massachusetts. ²
