David Simas is the former chief executive officer (CEO) of nonprofit group The Obama Foundation, and serves as president of the Foundation as of 2022. ¹

In 2009 he worked as the deputy assistant for President Obama and in 2007 he worked as the deputy chief of staff for Deval Patrick the previous Governor of Massachusetts. ²
