Three For Freedom is a pro-abortion activist website founded by Jennifer Lincoln, an OB-GYN from Portland, Oregon, in 2022. Lincoln was previously a co-founder of Obstetricians for Reproductive Justice. The website was founded to “inform and educate” about ways to avoid being affected by abortion restrictions implemented by states after the Supreme Court issued its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. ¹ To achieve this goal, the website facilitates access to contraception and abortion pills. ²

Founding

Three For Freedom was founded by Jennifer Lincoln, a Portland, Oregon-based  OB-GYN and a co-founder of Obstetricians for Reproductive Justice, in response to the Supreme Court decision Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The Dobbs decision returned the question of regulating abortion to state legislatures, overturning the purported federal right to abortion in Roe v. Wade. The website’s purpose is to “inform and educate” about ways to avoid being affected by abortion restrictions which could be implemented on a state-by-state basis, particularly in Republican-controlled states, by offering access to abortion pills and contraceptives. ³

Products and Services

Three for Freedom allows virtual prescriptions and purchases of contraceptive pills, the “morning after pill,” and abortion pills. Three for Freedom also includes a tool to find abortion providers in states without bans. ⁴
