The Northwest Federation of Community Organizations (NWFCO) is a regional organization founded in 1993 by four statewide citizen action organizations – the Idaho Community Action Network (ICAN), Montana People’s Action (MPA), Oregon Action (OA), and Washington Citizen Action (WCA). A fifth group, the Coalition of Montanans Concerned with Disabilities (CMCD), joined as an associate member in 1999.
