The Valley Falls Liberal is the original name of the newspaper Lucifer the Light Bearer. Moses Harman, an editor of the original newspaper, changed the name to Lucifer the Light Bearer in 1883. Lucifer usually discussed radical topics for that time like women’s rights.¹
