The Greening Earth Society was a former nonprofit organization created in 1997 by coal and transportation services group Western Fuels Association to be used as “a vehicle for advocacy on climate change, the environmental impact of CO2, and fossil fuel use” ¹ The GES published a journal, World Climate Report, that frequently contained articles written by skeptics of man-made climate change. ² The organization became defunct around 2005. ³
