    Background

    The project was launched during the 2022 midterms. In 2022, Carolina Forward Action endorsed left-of-center judicial candidates, including Judge Lucy Inman and then-incumbent Justice Sam Ervin for the North Carolina Supreme Court. 2

    2024 Elections

    In the 2024 North Carolina legislative elections, Caolina Forward Action endorsed 10 Democrats for the state legislature. Carolina Forward Action said that its endorsed candidates would oppose partisan gerrymandering, oppose corruption, and support abortion access. 1
