Violet World Foundations (VWF) is a grantmaking foundation run by investor and artist Robert Michael Scagliotti. ¹ The VWF is registered in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, but most of its grants are directed toward local community support non-profits in San Francisco. The VWF donates to some left-of-center groups which support liberal immigration policies and abortion access.

Violet World Foundations is led by R. Michael Scagliotti, a member of the Scripps family and director of the E.W. Scripps Company. ²

Grants

Violet World Foundations primary donates to local community groups, including hospitals, schools, and groups that support the homeless. VWF also gives to some left-of-center advocacy groups. In both 2018 and 2019, the group gave $4,000 to the ACLU Foundation of Northern California to support liberal expansionist immigrant advocacy, $5,000 to the Center for Reproductive Rights, $4,000 to the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), and $5,000 to Planned Parenthood. ^{3 4}

VWF also gave $5,000 to the nominally right-of-center environmentalist group Conservative Energy Network in Lansing, Michigan, in 2018 and 2019. ^{5 6}
