The Telos Group is a left-of-center religious organization which focuses on achieving peace in the Middle East, and advocates strongly for Palestinian causes. The organization hosts trips to the Holy Land for religious leaders, particularly in Evangelical communities, which encourage “peacemaking” between Israel and Palestine and aim to change the “pro-Israel” attitude in the American Evangelical community. The Telos Group has received siginfigant contributions from the George Soros funded Open Society Foundations.1
Right-leaning figures have categorized the Telos Group as anti-Israel. According to David Brogg, of Christians United for Israel, “This is not your parents’ anti-Israel group… These guys are savvy, these guys are smart.”2
The organization has also expressed opposition to President Donald Trump’s “Peace to Prosperity Plan” for peace in the Middle East.3
