The Puffin Foundation West (also known as Puffin West) is a private foundation based in Columbus, Ohio, that primarily gives grants to apolitical nonprofits with an artistic focus, with occasional grants going to left-of-center groups. This foundation is the sister organization of the Puffin Foundation in Teaneck, New Jersey. 
Puffin West’s founding is unknown, although IRS ruled on its non-exempt status in 2010.  Puffin West has officially announced that starting in 2020, it would only give grants to organizations in the following states due to its limited funding capacities: Ohio, North Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia. 
Puffin West has given the largest funds to what is listed as “Total Grants” with a giving category of “Arts & Culture” at around $552,496 (2015-2017). For listed organizations, Puffin West has given the most funds to Columbus Dance Theatre Inc. at $22,750 (2013-2014), Wexner Center for the Arts at $22,500 (2012-2013), Greater Columbus Arts Council Inc. at $20,000 (2013-2014) Harmony Project Productions Inc. at $18,000 (2013-2014), and the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education at $17,550 (2013-2014).
