Nevut, also known as International Lone Soldiers, is a charitable organization that financially supports American citizens who either have fought or are seeking to fight on behalf of the State of Israel. 1 2

Founded in 2017, Nevut (Hebrew for “navigation”), also known as International Lone Soldiers, is a charitable organization that financially supports American citizens seeking to fight on behalf of the nation of Israel. It also helps American veterans of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) transition into civilian life through programs and resources. 3 1 4
Activities
In July 2025, The Intercept published a report on Nevut’s recent activities in the United States. Nevut had organized parties and meetings between Americans who volunteered to serve in the Israel Defense Forces and right-of-center Daily Wire commentator Ben Shapiro, Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives, and New York Mayor Eric Adams (D). According to the report, Nevut at the time operated across 22 states. Nevut was one of at least 20 American organizations funding “lone soldier” programs in Israel and had spent over $26 million since 2020 on everything from recruitment to support for soldiers and veterans. 1

As of 2025, Ari Abramowitz was Nevut’s executive director. He was also the founder of the organization as well as a soldier in the Israeli military. David Devor was the chair of the board at the time. 16
