Activities
Living and Aging with Pride is a multi-platform television program that aims to serve the aging community at large with informative and entertaining content that focuses on enhancing quality of life. The program provides resources related to issues that affect the growing elderly population to help ensure that individuals continue to be economic and social assets to their families and communities. 1
Living and Aging with Pride aims to provide content that features relevant and current issues along with usable information that encourages wellness and healthy lifestyles. The group ensures truth in its media messages by employing what it calls the values of integrity, wisdom, and strong family principles. 1
As of December 2025, Living and Aging with Pride had produced 60 videos on its YouTube channel. 2
Funding
Living and Aging with Pride is funded by donations from individuals, foundations, and businesses. Tax filings confirm a $33,000 donation from the David Kelby Johnson Memorial Foundation in 2023. 3 Other donor organizations have included the Kanter Family Foundation 4 and the Segal Foundation. 5
People
As of 2025, James Brown was the host of Living and Aging with Pride, which he created. He is also the founder and as of 2025 was the president of Salt Lake City Studios. 6 As of 2025, Brown was sitting on the board of the Utah Investigative Journalism Project. 7

As of 2025, Kristy Chambers was the president of the board of Living and Aging with Pride and the CEO of Columbus. Chambers is a former CEO of Wasatch Homeless Health Care. 5
