Grantmaking
The Lakeside Foundation funds many organizations. The majority of these organizations are related to educational, healthcare, and cultural organizations.
But the foundation also supports some center-right activist organizations and think tanks. Among the groups supported are the American Enterprise Institute, Federalist Society, Hoover Institution, Pacific Legal Foundation, and the National Rifle Association Foundation. 2
The foundation is also transferring many of its assets to the Bellevue Foundation. 2
Funding
According to the 2015 Form 990, the foundation spent $7.3 million. It also pledged to donate $47.8 million to the Bellevue Foundation. It had $98.1 million in assets before its pledge to Bellevue. 2
