The organization contributes mostly to educational and health related non-profits. In addition to those charitable contributions, the organization donates to a handful of center-right advocacy causes.

Grantmaking
The Lakeside Foundation funds many organizations. The majority of these organizations are related to educational, healthcare, and cultural organizations.
But the foundation also supports some center-right activist organizations and think tanks. Among the groups supported are the American Enterprise Institute, Federalist Society, Hoover Institution, Pacific Legal Foundation, and the National Rifle Association Foundation. [6]

According to the 2015 Form 990, the foundation spent $7.3 million. It also pledged to donate $47.8 million to the Bellevue Foundation. It had $98.1 million in assets before its pledge to Bellevue. [8]
