Kendra Alexander Foundation is a continuing-education organization with a stated mission to promote education concerning workers’ social issues. 2 The foundation says it supports activists’ efforts to “educate themselves in order to make a socialist perspective a more integral part of the complex of struggles for social justice.” 3

The foundation says that it advocates for “economic democracy,” “environmental justice,” and against racism, sexism, homophobia, and imperialism. The foundation owns a building in San Francisco’s Mission District. 4

Projects

Kendra Alexander Foundation operates the Center for Political Education, an organization that develops and sponsors lectures, classes, workshops, and conferences from radical-left activists. 5 The organization also runs the radical-left Committees for Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. 6

Federal Loan

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the federal Small Business Administration provided a $30,762 loan in May 2020 to the Kendra Alexander Foundation through the Paycheck Protection Program.
