Background

Fems for Democracy was started in 2016 by Lori Goldman to advocate on policy issues relating to women including healthcare and education. ³ The group’s sister PAC organization, Fems for Dems, was created around the same time to more directly support Democratic candidates running for office. As of 2023, they claim to have over 12,000 members. ⁴

Lori Goldman is the founder of Fems for Democracy as well as Fems for Dems in 2016. ⁵
