Family Research Council Action (FRC Action) is a right-of-center lobbying organization that seeks to advance faith, family, and freedom by educating and influencing elected officials. FRC Action supports candidates in order to influence elections and impact public policy to reflect the fundamental U.S. values, including life, traditional family values, and religious liberty. 1
FRC Action is the political action arm of the Family Research Council. 2
Activities
Family Research Council Action recognizes the value of every individual life and advocates for legislation that supports fetal dignity laws, prenatal nondiscrimination acts, and prohibits the trafficking of fetal body parts. FRC Action opposes dismemberment abortions, funding abortion with taxpayer dollars, or federally funding research using fetal tissue derived from induced abortions. 3
Family Research Council Action champions for traditional family values and supports the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act. FRC Action does not support protecting sexual orientation and gender identity as special categories under the law and opposes the Equality Act and the Fairness for All Act. 4
The Family Research Council Action PAC endorses candidates who share its values of faith, family, and freedom. Its 2022 endorsements include Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL), Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), congressional candidate Chad Slotta (R-NC), Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), and Sen. James Lankford (R-OK). 5
