Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund (also known as OEC Action Fund) is the 527 political action committee affiliated with the left-of-center environmentalist nonprofit Ohio Environmental Council. It is the Ohio state affiliate of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV).
2016 General Election
The OEC Action Fund is classified “liberal” by the Center for Responsive Politics. In 2016, the PAC spent $57,325 to oppose Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, and another $19,358 to oppose Ohio Sen. Rob Portman (R). In that election cycle, the OEC Action Fund donated $251,908 to the labor union-aligned PAC For Our Future.
