Career
Steven Soltar has worked as a development consultant since 1993. He has held various other positions, including as an alternate dispute resolution mediator at the Seattle Office of Civil Rights, as a community representative on the Bainbridge Island School District multicultural advisory committee, and as an adjunct instructor at Seattle Pacific University and the Federal Executive Institute. He is currently affiliated as a consultant with the University of Washington. 1
Other consulting clients have included the City of Seattle, the U.S. Geological Survey, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. 1
In 2018, Soltar was paid $1,350 to conduct diversity workshops on bias and race for the Bainbridge Island School District. 2
