January C. Romero Reissman is a nonprofit management official who currently works as vice president for community impact at the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.

Personal Life and Education

January C. Romero was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1984. She attended Yale University where she was captain of the women’s golf team and met her husband Rick Reissman, then-captain of the Yale men’s golf team. ¹

January attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Yale, then entered NYU where she served as men’s and women’s assistant golf coach and attained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in 2011. ^{2 3}

Career

Reissman worked as an associate at Achievement First from 2012 to 2014 and then became a program associate at the Fairfield County Community Foundation until 2016 when she became executive director at the Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank.  She then joined the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties (CFPBMC) in West Palm Beach, FL as vice president for community impact. ⁴

CFPBMC is one of Florida’s largest community foundations that together with its family of donors holds over $140 million in assets and has invested over $94 million since 1972 in Palm Beach and Martin counties. ⁵
