Andy Green is the managing director of economics at the Center for American Progress. ¹ Previously he had served as counsel to Kara Stein, the commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and as staff director of the Senate Banking Committee’s Subcomittee on Economic Policy where he participated in the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act. He is also on the advisory committee of Our Story Hub, a project of the Proteus Fund, which advises left-of-center politicians and groups on communication strategies. ²
