Young Americans for Liberty Foundation (YALF) is a libertarian-aligned charitable organization that supports the work of its sister advocacy organization, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL). 1

Activities

Young Americans for Liberty Foundation is a major financial supporter of Young Americans for Liberty and granted YAL $3.4 million in 2019. 2 Additionally, YALF sponsors regional conferences that support YAL’s efforts to recruit, educate, and train college students on the ideals of liberty and the U.S. Constitution. 3 Both YALF and YAL seek to advance pro-liberty policies to create a more limited government. 4

Funding

Young Americans for Liberty Foundation is funded by donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations. While YALF does not disclose its donors, tax filings confirm donations from Donors Trust ($783,220 in 2020), 5 the Seminar Network ($575,000 in 2019), 6 and the Charles Koch Foundation ($355,000 in 2019). 7
