    The Opportunity for All Action Fund was a social welfare advocacy group that was active during the 2022 campaign cycle, before appearing to be liquidated by the end of 2023, based on available IRS tax returns.  1  2

    The group was labelled a “dark money” organization due to its structure and activities as a social welfare advocacy group; the group accepted gifts anonymously and spent over $1 million on political campaign advocacy in 2022. These contributions were either directed against Republican candidates, or for center-left incumbents of the Democratic Party being challenged by more left-leaning candidates, according to The Intercept.  1  3

    In 2022, the group spent $1,087,763 on political campaign activity expenditures; the Opportunity for All Action Fund also gave $260,000 to the American Bridge 21st Century Foundation and $80,000 to the Voter Participation Center.  11

    People

    Michael McKay was the president of the Opportunity for All Action Fund. McKay is also the founder and managing partner of Empire Consulting Group. Previously, he was a senior policy advisor for U.S. Representative Gregory Meeks (D-NY) and a government and community relations liaison for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.  8  3  6

    Patti Solis Doyle was the treasurer of the Opportunity for All Action Fund. Doyle is a partner of the Brunswick Group and a political commentator for CNN. She is also a co-founder of Vendor Assistance Program LLC. Previously, Doyle was a president of Solis Strategies LLC and a partner at Utrecht and Phillips. Her political operative career includes being the chief of staff for vice president operations in the 2012 Obama presidential campaign and being the campaign manager of Hillary for President in 2008. Prior to this, she was the assistant to the president and senior advisor to the First Lady during the Clinton administration.  7  6

    Darrel Thompson was a director of the Opportunity for All Action Fund. He is a partner at theGROUP DC, a position he has had since 2013. Previously, he worked as a senior advisor to former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) for eight years.  5  6
