The Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation based in Golden Beach, Florida. In 2023, the Foundation gave $691,183 to nonprofit organizations in the areas of education, pro-Israel efforts, and social services. 1  Members of the Foundation’s board as of 2025 were largely alumni of the University of Pennsylvania and its Wharton School of Business. 2

Grantmaking

In 2023, the Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation’s largest donations were given to the University of Pennsylvania ($200,000), the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces ($180,000), and the Merona Leadership Foundation ($120,000). Smaller donations were given to the Jewish Outreach Center ($41,183), the Williston Northampton School ($40,000), and the Menorah House ($10,000). 1

The Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation also contributed $100,000 to the Canary Mission in 2023, an organization that documents hate groups on college campuses in an effort to combat the rise of antisemitism. In an April 5, 2025 article in the Daily Pennsylvanian, an independent student media organization based at the University of Pennsylvania, it was reported that the Canary Mission includes a number of webpages noting the rise of antisemitism at UPenn, including profiles and personal information of UPenn students and faculty, along with contact information of senior UPenn administrators. The article notes that Foundation board members Alberto Peisach, Monica Peisach Sasson, and Jaime Peisach are alumni of the University of Pennsylvania. 3

The Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation is primarily funded by donations from members of its board of directors: Alberto Peisach, Jaime Peisach, and Monica Sasson. 4

Leadership

Alberto Peisach is the president of the Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation and the CEO of Category Five Ventures. Peisach is the chair of the boards of Category Five Real Estate and Mutuo Capital International and sits on the boards of Alta Peak Roofing, Focus BPO, Elan Energy, and FactorTek. 5 2

Monica Sasson is the vice president of the Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation and sits on the advisory board of the Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania. Sasson is the founder of Jewish Fertility Foundation Miami and sits on the boards of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces and Beit Avot. 6 2

Jaime Peisach is the treasurer of the Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation and a former member of the executive board for Latin America of the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania. 7 2

Herbert M. Selzer is the secretary of the Natan and Lidia Peisach Family Foundation and an attorney with Loeb Block LLC. Selzer directs international law Corona Capital Ltd, Montpelier Resources Ltd, and Genesis Foundation Inc. 8 2
