Kino Border Initiative is an organization that was created in 2009 by the California Province of the Society of Jesus, Jesuit Refugee Service, the Missionary Sisters of the Eucharist, the Mexican Province of the Society of Jesus, the Diocese of Tucson and the Diocese of Nogales. It is in Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. The organization participates in research and educational programming that seeks to address existing local, regional, and national immigration policies in the United States. ¹
