Human Coalition (formerly Online For Life) is a nonprofit pro-life organization that seeks to end abortion in America through a cultural transformation that values life over death. Human Coalition seeks to protect unborn babies and give women and families the chance to have children. 1

Human Coalition Action is the sister lobbying and electoral advocacy organization of Human Coalition. 2

Activities

Human Coalition seeks to end abortion in the U.S. through local strategies that include providing women’s care clinics and soliciting support from churches and community resources that support life-affirming values. Human Coalition currently has strategic campaigns in Cleveland, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Raleigh. 3 The goal of these campaigns is to make connections with women considering abortion in an effort to have them reconsider their options, and ultimately make abortion both unthinkable and unavailable. 4

In February 2023, Human Coalition filed an amicus curiae brief in support of the lawsuit filed by Alliance Defending Freedom challenging the FDA’s approval of the chemical abortion pill regimen. Human Coalition claimed that abortion pills not only take the life of an unborn baby, but they have negative physical and psychological effects on women. Human Coalition further claims that the FDA endangers women everyday by failing to maintain basic safety protocols. 5

Human Coalition provides churches with resources to further outreach to change people’s minds and hearts and end abortion. These resources intend to provide information about how to defend the pro-life position and to equip those in the church to engage in a way that is both intelligent and truthful. 6 Human Coalition provides talking points on the topics of men’s role in ending abortion, defending the sacredness of life, demystifying the idea that abortion is “complicated,” using the Bible to defend life, and dispelling the myths, half-truths, and political agenda surrounding abortion. 7

Funding

Human Coalition is funded by donations from individuals, foundations, and businesses. While Human Coalition does not disclose its donors, tax filings confirm donations from the Servant Foundation ($2 million in 2020), 8 the Father’s Table Foundation ($100,000 in 2020), 9 and the Knights of Columbus Charities ($19,112 in 2019). 10
