Human Coalition Action (HCA) is a nonprofit advocacy organization that seeks to unify the pro-life movement by mobilizing grassroots support for pro-life values to end abortion. 1 HCA’s primary goals are to promote social advocacy and change, advance pro-life policies, and unify the pro-life movement to make a cultural impact. 2

Human Coalition is the charitable sister organization of Human Coalition Action. 3

Activities

Human Coalition Action intends to unify the pro-life movement to make abortion unthinkable and ultimately unavailable. HCA uses grassroots efforts to defeat the abortion industry at both a cultural and political level. Human Coalition Action claims that its efforts protect unborn babies along with women and families targeted by the abortion industry. 4

Human Coalition Action mobilizes and motivates pro-life individuals by providing them with information and action items. HCA claims that the pro-life movement is underfunded compared to abortion advocacy organizations like Planned Parenthood, and that with more funding, the pro-life movement could end abortion. HCA further claims that ending abortion is not as complicated as people tend to think. 5

Human Coalition Action claims that the mission and business model of Planned Parenthood supports both racism and eugenics. HCA supports this claim by pointing to data from the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute showing that rates of abortion are almost five times higher for Black women than for white women. HCA also claims that almost 80% of Planned Parenthood facilities performing surgical abortions are located within walking distance of minority communities. 6

Human Coalition has partnered with the Frederick Douglass Foundation in an effort to hold Planned Parenthood accountable for its supposed racism. The organizations wrote a letter to Alexis McGill Johnson, president of Planned Parenthood, signed by more than 100 prominent Black leaders, calling on her and Planned Parenthood to confront the systemic racism of the abortion industry and renounce the racist legacy of the organization’s founder, Margaret Sanger. 7
