Gianforte Family Foundation

The Gianforte Family Foundation (officially the Gianforte Family Charitable Trust) is a private grantmaking foundation that provides financial support to organizations within the state of Montana. 1 The Gianforte Family Foundation distributed more than $10.8 million in grants in 2023, largely to Montana-based charitable organizations. 2

    In 2023, the Gianforte Family Foundation donated over $10.8 million in grants. Its largest donations that year went to Ace Scholarships ($1.73 million), Community Leadership and Development Inc. ($1 million), and the Montana Family Institute ($254,231). In 2023, the Foundation also donated to several right-of-center advocacy groups including Alliance Defending Freedom, Turning Point USA, and the Family Research Council. 2
